Clients are matched with you after an initial intake call with the owner
You don’t have to worry about marketing your services on your own (though it never hurts! We offer referral bonuses.)
Working in doula partnerships - no solo doula-ing required! And you always have a back-up, or two
Expectations of professionalism
Access to agency-wide trainings
Flexible work-load and schedules for your work-life balance
We work with ProDoula International for all our doula training needs. We love learning from them!
ProDoula trainings are virtual or in person throughout the US. After your first training, you can go to the training again for free! It’s a great way to refresh your knowledge and connect with other doulas. Many of our team members have been to several trainings from ProDoula and beyond. You can always learn something new with each training session.

-
Many of our team members have other jobs or roles they play outside of work with us, but some work as only doulas. We offer flexibility in terms of the number of clients that you work with at a time.
-
Our doulas work in pairs for labor clients and small teams, when needed, for postpartum clients. They are matched based on the client’s desires and personality, location, doulas’ desires and availability. You will be paired with different doulas frequently.
The partnership, or team, model ensures the best support and availability for our families because you always have a back-up. Families get to know both doulas equally through pregnancy. If one doula isn’t available for them during labor, they do not have to meet a new face during the most vulnerable parts of their care.
This model also gives doulas the peace of mind that they don’t have to have all the answers. You can turn to one another when you have questions. It also relieves some of the pressure of being on call and connected to your phone for weeks at a time.
Our doulas love the community that is built through this model. They have said that they get to learn new ways of being a doula and supporting parents. They are always challenged and supported. Most would not doula any other way!

Many doulas apply once they have completed their training, but if you have a scheduled date for your training and are ready to get the ball rolling, applying early might be the right path for you.
