Infant Feeding Support
The most natural thing in the world doesn't always come naturally…
Many women find the start of their breastfeeding journey to be challenging and full of questions. Our Infant Feeding Specialist can help you get feedings off to a great start with our quick, responsive, in-home or virtual services.
Whether your nipples feel like they are on fire, you need someone to walk through an entire feeding from start to finish (all the while encouraging how your baby is responding to you), or you just aren't sure if feedings are going well… we know how to bring down the stress levels that can build in those first few days home.
Our Infant Feeding Specialists are able to connect with you day/night to help you get through those rough patches and begin to get things turned around. We know what is normal, can offer several suggestions for adjustments and help you make a plan to get you to your goals, whatever those may be. We can meet with you via Zoom or in-person home visit in the comfort of your home.

Receive our Infant Feeding Questionnaire if you’d like to share some details and history with your baby’s feedings
Your visit will be scheduled at a time that your baby will likely have a feeding and we double check that has not changed before our visit.
Your Infant Feeding Specialists will begin with washing their hands, asking any clarifying questions and asking your short and long term goals. Depending on your goals, we will assist with supporting feedings; at the breast, with the bottle, and answer all your pumping questions.
Many moms/parents says they haven’t had good guidance at the start and feel unsure why things haven’t been going well. You will feel reassured with our verbal and hands-on guidance to help you and baby gain some insights into how you can have better feedings. Our typical visit is 1.5 hours. But ranges from 1-2 hours.
You GAIN confidence and reassurance that you had hoped to gain and we check on you in a few days to see how it is going. We also send out a follow up email to share resources that can help your learn with videos, PDFs and links.
Our team also know that some parents and babies may need support, such as a lactation consultant or other professional. In those cases we help you to get quick referrals and follow up to ensure you have the support and tools to implement the steps suggested. We understand that most things aren’t fixed overnight, but the sooner you get the support and care you need the quicker you and your baby will begin to feel at ease and thrive together.
Our experienced team has worked with mother and babies in their homes or virtually to calm the storm that can ensue in those first 14 days after birth (or longer). We bring you a peace of mind so that you worry less and are able to manage feedings with more ease & confidence.
