Taylor Griffis
Taylor began her birthwork journey during her first pregnancy and has continued expanding her knowledge and skills while raising her daughter. She is deeply passionate about a woman's transformative journey into motherhood and believes that compassionate, knowledgeable support can make all the difference while bringing new life into the world.
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, she followed a calling to the Appalachian Mountains and moved to the High Country on a whim six years ago. From the moment she arrived, Taylor felt deeply connected to this community and inspired by the way neighbors showed up for one another. That same spirit of compassion and support shapes the care she provides to every family she works with.
Taylor earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Florida and has spent her career nurturing and educating others. Before becoming a doula, she worked as an art teacher for young children and as a ceramics instructor.
She is also a ProDoula Certified Labor and Birth Doula, combining her background in education with evidence-based training and heartfelt support to guide families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. Taylor is honored to serve the women and families with compassionate care.
